Description / Scope of Work
The National Highway Authority (NHA) Gilgit-Baltistan Region invites e-bids for routine maintenance works on the Manshera-Naran-Jalkhad Road (N-15) in Gilgit, Gilgit-Baltistan. Three separate contracts are being procured: routine maintenance work from KM 186-210 with an engineer's estimate of Rs. 19,888,880, routine maintenance work from KM 210-225 valued at Rs. 12,055,551, and routine maintenance work from KM 225-240 valued at Rs. 12,055,569. The total scope covers critical road maintenance activities spanning 54 kilometres of this major national highway corridor in the northern region.
Eligible bidders must be constructors registered with the Income Tax Department, included on the Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue where applicable, and possess valid registration with Pakistan Engineering Council in Category C-5 or above with specialization in CE-01 and CE-10. Bidders are required to submit bid security amounts of Rs. 397,777.60 for the first contract, Rs. 241,111.02 for the second contract, and Rs. 241,111.38 for the third contract. The procurement method is Single Stage Two Envelopes, conducted through NHA's e-Bidding System. All firms must obtain EPADS (PPRA) registration at www.eprocure.gov.pk immediately, as manual hard copy bids will be eliminated in upcoming procurements.
Bidding documents will be available for free download from the NHA website (www.ebidding.nha.gov.pk) from July 15, 2026. E-bids must be submitted to the NHA Complex, Heli Chowk, Jutial Cantt, Gilgit on or before July 29, 2026 at 1100 Hours, with technical e-bids opening on the same day at 1130 Hours.
