Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Sports Board invites sealed tender applications from well-reputed firms registered as Contractors/Construction firms with Pakistan Engineering Council in relevant codes for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of flood lights and poles at Naseer Basia Hockey Stadium, Islamabad. The project is valued at Rs 1,000,000 (Rupees One Million Only) and falls under PEC category C-5 and above. This infrastructure upgrade project aims to enhance the sporting facilities at the stadium located in Islamabad, Federal Province, and is open to qualified contractors with up-to-date PEC registration and renewal.
Applicant firms must be registered with PEC in relevant professional codes and must submit proof of current registration along with National Tax Number documentation. Bids must include complete company information including name, address, telephone, fax, email address of branches if any, and evidence of no blacklisting or litigation with any government or autonomous agency. Bid security is required as specified in the tender documents. The bidder must not quote more than 10 percent below the engineer's estimate, and any bid below this threshold will be rejected. In case of a bid quoted by the bidder more than 10 percent below the engineer estimate, the successful bidder shall be bound to produce the additional bid security within seven days from issuance of letter of acceptance.
Bidding documents are available for download from https://eprocurement.gov.pk and the Pakistan Sports Board website www.sports.gov.pk as well as the PPRA website. Applications must be submitted through EPAOS with complete information; manual submissions will not be entertained. The last date for submission is June 30, 2026, with bid opening scheduled for 1100 hours on the same day using the single stage two envelope method.
