Description / Scope of Work
The Tehsil Municipal Administration Kohat invites sealed tenders through the e-PADS system for two development and infrastructure schemes under the District Development Plan and Annual Development Programme for the financial year 2025-26. The first scheme involves reconstruction of Majid Hazrat Umer and PCC streets, drains, culvert and causeway, and solarization of mosques at VC 1 or Chapri in Kohat with an estimated cost of PKR 12.00 million at 2% earnest money. The second scheme concerns solarization of 02 non-existing tube wells at TMA Kohat in Ahmad Faraz Public Park Jerma Kohat and women and children park with an estimated cost of PKR 7.26 million at 2% earnest money. Both projects are infrastructure development initiatives aimed at improving municipal services and public utilities in Kohat, KPK province.
Bidders must be registered with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority as per KPPRA Clause 37(A) rules. All mandatory documents including bid securities and detailed rate analysis must be submitted electronically through the e-PADS portal. Contractors quoting up to 10% below engineer estimate shall submit 2% bid security on engineering estimate. Those quoting 10-20% below shall provide 8% additional security plus 2% bid security. Bids exceeding 20% below require detailed rate analysis and matching additional security amounts. Mandatory requirements include valid certificates of sole proprietorship or Form-H, SECP or PVT company registration, active PEC license, NOC, BOQ, BSDs, LCB Enlishment, active NTN/Income Tax Certificate, and KPPRA registration as per specialization codes EE11 for general electrical works and ME06/ME07 for mechanical works.
Bidding documents are available for download from the official e-PADS website at eprocure.gov.pk following publication on National Dailies and KPPRA's website. Sealed bids with all original securities and mandatory documents must be submitted via courier to the TMA Kohat office before the closing time of 1:00 PM on 23 June 2026. The tender opening will take place on the same date at 2:00 PM. Bids will be evaluated using the Market Rate System 2025 methodology. In case of tied bids, the successful bidder will be determined through open draw. Work orders will be issued upon fund availability.
