Description / Scope of Work
The University of Turbat invites bids from eligible and experienced firms, contractors, and individuals for the provision and operation of multiple campus service facilities within the university premises in Balochistan. The tender encompasses eleven distinct service facilities including Boys Hostel Mess, Tuck Shops at Boys Hostel and Large Lecture halls, Mart/Grocery Shop, Beauty Saloon, Laundry and Ironing Shop, Coffee Shop, New Girls Hostel Tuck-shop, New Girls Hostel Mess, and Canteen at Law College. This bidding process aims to ensure that hostel residents receive quality services and essential facilities in a hygienic, efficient, and well-regulated environment. The procurement shall be conducted in accordance with applicable BPPRA/PPRA Rules and procurement regulations of the Government of Balochistan.
Eligible bidders must demonstrate technical competence, financial soundness, and relevant experience in operating similar service facilities. Bidders are required to submit bid security as per the prescribed format and meet all qualification criteria outlined in the tender document. Each facility will be awarded to the successful bidder offering the highest monthly rent while meeting technical eligibility requirements. Interested parties must comply strictly with all procedural instructions, and failure to follow prescribed procedures may result in bid disqualification.
Bid documents are available from the University of Turbat's Directorate of Procurement. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the evaluation methodology defined in the tender document. The bidding process includes detailed sections covering general and special conditions of contract, performance security requirements, hygiene and staff conduct standards, utility provisions, mess menu standards, monitoring committee oversight, student complaint systems, penalty matrices, and contract termination provisions. The University reserves the right to accept or reject any bid wholly or partially at any stage of the procurement process.
