DHA Karachi seeks turnkey supply, installation, testing and commissioning of four semi-imported elevators with cabin accessories for DHA Mall.
Medium-scale procurement with tight deadline (~18 months from notice date). Turnkey model suggests bidder bears full responsibility through commissioning—typical for institutional clients. Semi-imported specification indicates local assembly/integration expected. Single location, one-off project; no recurring component mentioned. Competitive process favors established elevator suppliers with DHA experience.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered under Income Tax Act and Sales Tax Act (EOBI/SECP registration typically required for manufacturing firms). Restricted to 'reputed firms' and 'eligible manufacturers and suppliers'—DHA will define reputation criteria internally, likely requiring documented experience with similar installations. No explicit PEC requirement stated, though mechanical/electrical contractor certification may be implied.
