For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
NICL seeks OTIS lift components and installation materials for their Karachi headquarters—a specialized procurement unlikely to attract generalist contractors.
The scale appears medium (building-level installation), closure in August 2026 suggests moderate timeline pressure. Notably, this requires OTIS-specific authorization and technical certification; vendors without OEM partnership or prior OTIS projects will struggle. One-off facility project, not recurring.
Who can bid: Bidders must hold valid business registration (SECP), NTN tax registration, OTIS-approved supplier/installer certification, and demonstrate prior experience with similar lift installations. Typically required: active NICL vendor enrollment, financial soundness documentation, and insurance. No PEC category applies (non-construction trade).
