Description / Scope of Work
The Assistant Director Local Government and Rural Development Department Tehsil Headquarters District Kurram invites sealed tenders under the Accelerated Sustainable Development Initiative in District Kurram, referencing ADP No. 251287 (2024-26). Eight infrastructure schemes totalling approximately 9.70 million rupees are offered through Single Envelope Single Stage Procedure on the basis of Single Tender through EPADS portal. Projects span multiple locations across District Kurram and include solarization of community centers, construction of PCC streets with drainage systems, installation of OHWT, dugwell construction, and road development works. All projects fall under the current financial year programme and are registered with PEC and C&W Department under the Centralized Enlistment Policy of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Eligible contractors and firms must hold valid PEC registration codes appropriate to the project category and current Active Tax Payer status with KPPRA registration valid for the current financial year. Bid securities must be prepared as two percent of the estimated cost and uploaded on the EPADS system at the time of bid submission. A hard copy of the bid security shall be delivered to the office of the Assistant Director at Tehsil Head Quarter Upper Kurram District Kurram before the closing time. Any bid documents containing cutting, overwriting, or alterations shall be rejected outright. Bidders may offer rates as percentage above or below or at par with Engineer Estimates, provided rates exceeding twenty percent below estimates must include detailed rate analysis and justifiable supporting documentation.
Bid documents are available for download from the EPADS website (www.eprocure.gov.pk) and the KP-PPRA website (www.kp-ppra.gov.pk) following NIT publication. Electronic bid submission closes on 19th August, 2026 at 12:30 PM, with opening scheduled for 02:00 PM the same day. Online clarification is available until 12:00 PM on 18th August, 2026. Bid securities for work must be prepared after publishing the NIT and before closing time of electronic bid. All bids remain valid for ninety days from the closing date. Prospective bidders must register on EPADS to obtain a unique username and password before participation.
