Description / Scope of Work
The Highway Division, Sargodha invites sealed tenders for the rehabilitation and improvement of a 1.30 kilometre road section from Sargodha Khushab Road at Shahpur Sadar to Shahpur Lak More Road in District Sargodha, Punjab. The project scope encompasses complete road reconstruction including dismantling and removal of existing road edging, scarification of old surfaces, earthwork for embankment with mechanical compaction, provision and laying of sub-base and base courses of crushed stone aggregate to achieve 100% modified AASHTO dry density, provision of brick road edging, application of bitumen prime mixing coat, laying of pre-mixed bitumen carpet 2 inches thick with proper compaction and finishing, and installation of tuff pavers with 7000 PSI crushing strength over sand cushion. The estimated project cost is Rs. 97.177 million with earnest money of Rs. 4.859 million. Work completion is required by 31 December 2026.
The road structure component includes dismantling of existing reinforced cement concrete and brickwork, excavation in foundations and open cuttings for drains, provision of cement concrete ballast in foundation and plinth, laying of first-class pacca brickwork in cement sand mortar, cement plaster on walls, reinforced cement concrete in structural members including roof slabs and beams, bed plates, steel reinforcement, and provision of RCC manhole covers. Road furniture works encompass painting of traffic lanes with thermoplastic paint, provision and fixing of cat eyes with retroreflective glass beads, cast iron benches, solar street lights with LED luminaires and charge controllers, and informatory sign boards with reflective tape.
Bid documents are available from the Superintending Engineer, Highway Division, Sargodha. Tenders must be submitted in sealed envelopes by the closing date specified in the tender notice.
