UET Lahore seeks supply of student chairs for academic buildings, a straightforward goods procurement at modest scale (Rs 4.2 million estimated value). The one-month timeline is relatively tight given the two-envelope procedure and requirement for in-person CDR submission at the main campus. This appears to be a one-off supply contract rather than a framework agreement. Bidders must be PPRA-registered and hold valid registration as manufacturers or authorized dealers; local Punjab-based suppliers may have logistical advantage given the campus location.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered on PPRA-Punjab e-procurement portal. Eligible parties include manufacturers, authorized dealers, suppliers, and sales agents of reputed firms and companies. Bidders typically must hold valid NTN and SECP registration where applicable. Submission of 2 percent earnest money via CDR is mandatory; non-submission results in disqualification.
