Description / Scope of Work
The University of the Punjab, Faculty of Law, invites applications for admission to postgraduate programmes in the Fall Semester 2026. Two programmes are offered: LL.M. degree (requiring an LL.B. degree as eligibility criterion) and Ph.D. in Law and Human Rights (requiring an LL.M. degree as eligibility criterion). The written test for LL.M. will be held on 28 August 2026 at 10:00 am, with interviews scheduled for 14 September 2026 between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. The Ph.D. written test is scheduled for 28 August 2026 at 2:00 pm, with interviews on 21 September 2026 during the same time window. The University Examination Halls at Quaid-e-Azam Campus will host the LL.M. test, while the Ph.D. written test will be conducted at Punjab University Law College, also at Quaid-e-Azam Campus. Interviews for both programmes will be held at University Law College.
Candidates seeking admission must hold the requisite degree credentials: an LL.B. degree for LL.M. applicants and an LL.M. degree for Ph.D. applicants. Online application forms are available at http://admissions.pu.edu.pk and http://111.68.103.22/admissions, with a submission deadline of 10 August 2026. Applicants must submit the completed online form along with scanned copies of academic certificates and a paid challan receipt (Rs. 2,500) by 24 August 2026 at 11:59 pm. The notice specifies that no third division results in any career are acceptable for either programme.
