Description / Scope of Work
The Chitral Irrigation Division invites electronic bids from approved contractors of the Irrigation Department for Annual Maintenance and Repair (AM&R) of irrigation channels and bank protection works across Chitral district for the financial year 2026-27. The tender covers twelve separate works packages with estimated costs ranging from Rs. 1.5 million to Rs. 2.0 million. Works include AM&R of loan irrigation channels (from RD 0-25000 and RD 25000-tail), green Lasht irrigation channel, Zait irrigation channel, Kalkatak and Kaldam irrigation channels, Purgal Lovidam and Batrick irrigation channels, Attauni irrigation channel, and Bakarabad and Daneen irrigation channels in Upper and Lower Chitral districts. Additionally, bank protection, flood protection and channelization works are required in Tehsil Chitral areas including Taksil, Drosh, Malkhow-Torkhow and Masuj. The total estimated contract value across all packages exceeds Rs. 40 million.
Bidders must be approved contractors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for financial year 2026-27 in the relevant category and specialization codes. Valid PEC license, active NTN registration with Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), valid KPRA registration, and Enlistment with Govt. KP Works Department are mandatory. Bidders must possess C-6 and above category for general irrigation works or CE-04 (VII) for bank protection and flood protection works. Bid security of 2 percent of estimated cost must be submitted in the form of Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) or additional security instruments before the closing date.
Bids must be uploaded through the EPADS portal (https://kp.eprocure.gov.pk) before 12:00 PM on 08 September 2026. Scanned copies of CNIC, valid PEC license, government enlistment, active KPRA registration, active FBR status and rate analysis (if required) must be included in a single PDF file. Bid opening will occur at 12:30 PM on the same date. Pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 03 September 2026 at 11:00 AM in the office of the undersigned.
