For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
WAPDA Hospital Complex is procuring medicines via a framework agreement—a recurring, multi-year supply contract typical of healthcare institutions.
Eligibility is tightly gated to registered, tax-compliant chemist businesses holding active FBR status and valid pharmacy licenses. The bid security at Rs. 250,000 suggests a medium-scale framework. Bidders should note the stringent 30-day closure window and the requirement to deliver hard-copy sealed bids by precise deadline; online portals are not mentioned. Framework agreements often involve quarterly or annual rate adjustment; clarify pricing and volume terms before submission.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered chemists or pharmacies with valid drug sales licenses, income tax and sales tax registration, and active status on the FBR Active Taxpayers List. Typically, such tenders also require proof of business experience, financial stability documentation, and compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory standards in Pakistan.
