Description / Scope of Work
The District Head Quarter Hospital Hafizabad, under the Health and Population Department of the Government of Punjab, invites electronic bids for a framework contract for day-to-day local purchase of medicines and surgical/disposable items including medicines for the Chief Minister's Special Initiative Program (Dialysis) for the financial year 2026-27. The procurement has an estimated cost of 80 million Pakistani rupees and covers supply to the hospital facility in Hafizabad district. This is a single-stage, two-envelope open competitive bidding process conducted through the Punjab e-Procurement System in accordance with Punjab Procurement Rules 2014.
Eligible bidders include all suppliers, associations of persons, companies, sole proprietors, and general order suppliers duly registered with relevant registration authorities and tax departments. Bidders must not be blacklisted by the Procuring Agency or the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority, and must submit a bid security equivalent to two percent of the total estimated price electronically through the e-Procurement portal. Bidders shall have no conflict of interest and must comply with all technical and financial submission requirements specified in the bidding documents.
Bidding documents are available for free download from the PPRA website and the Punjab e-Procurement System portal. E-bids must be submitted in prescribed format with proper documentation, page numbering, and duly signed and stamped pages. Bids will be opened on 1 September 2026 at the office of the Medical Superintendent, DHQ Hospital Hafizabad, in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
