Description / Scope of Work
The National Highway Authority (NHA) Multan is conducting a public open auction for the disposal of fallen wood logs on September 08, 2026. Two lots of dried eucalyptus wood are being offered for sale on an as-is and where-is basis: Lot 1 comprising approximately 154.81 units (40 kg each) stocked at NHA Laboratory Harappa (KM-1086, N-5), and Lot 2 comprising approximately 372.09 units stocked at Mian Channu Toll Plaza (KM-1034, N-5). The auction will be conducted on a lumpsum basis at the NHA Regional Complex, Nag Shah Chowk, Multan. Both lots may be inspected during working hours until September 07, 2026.
Participation in the auction requires each bidder to submit a Pay Order, Demand Draft, or CDR amounting to Rs. 25,000 (non-refundable token money) along with a valid copy of CNIC up to 12:00 hours on the auction day. The successful highest bidder must deposit 10 percent of the bid amount as non-refundable earnest money at the spot; failure to do so will result in rejection of the bid and forfeiture of token money. Pay Orders of the top three bidders will be retained until finalization of the auction process; others will be released immediately under stamp and signature.
The successful bidder must deposit the balance amount within six days of approval by the Competent Authority; failure to pay within this period results in forfeiture of token and earnest money, and NHA reserves the right to re-offer the wood logs to the next highest bidder. Written permission for removal of purchased items will be granted only after full payment including all applicable government taxes. The purchaser bears all removal costs and risks; if removal is not completed within the specified time, daily ground rent at 0.5 percent of the total bid amount will be charged. All queries must be raised on the auction day; thereafter no objections will be entertained, and decisions of the Auction Committee are final.
