This is a portfolio of five infrastructure contracts under a provincial development initiative with a combined estimated value exceeding Rs 21 million, covering water supply (tube well), renewable ene…
gy (solar pump systems), and public infrastructure improvements across Karak district. Key challenge: tight deadline for bid submission (22 September 2026) with strict physical delivery requirements for bid securities and zero tolerance for incomplete documentation. Notably, additional performance securities are triggered for competitive bids below 10% of estimate, escalating significantly for deeper discounts. Works execution timelines vary from as-per-work-order to completion, suggesting phased or priority-based implementation.
Who can bid: Government contractors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council and enlisted with Civil & Works Department are eligible. PEC registration must be current and relevant to work category. Active Tax Payer (KPRA) registration must be valid for 2025-26 financial year. Bidders must register on EPADS for username and password. Typically, construction works require category-specific PEC codes and valid provincial enlistment.
