The Institute of Public Health, located in Lahore, Punjab, invites bids for the procurement of furniture for the financial year 2026-27. The procurement is funded from the Government of Punjab budget allocated during 2025-26. This invitation for bids follows a single stage two envelopes bidding procedure and covers the supply of furniture items as detailed in the technical specifications and schedule of requirements provided in the bidding documents. The scope encompasses delivery of all furniture items on a duty paid (DDP) basis, with prices to be quoted on an item-wise basis as specified in the bid data sheet.
Eligible bidders include all suppliers, contractors, and firms except those previously engaged in consulting services for the Institute, government-owned enterprises that are not financially autonomous, and entities blacklisted by any government department or the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA). Bidders must provide documentary evidence of eligibility and qualification at the time of bid submission. The bid security required is 2% of the total contract amount, payable as a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) in Pakistani rupees, valid for 30 days beyond the bid validity period. For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
The Institute of Public Health seeks furniture supply for 2026-27, with bidding through PPRA's two-envelope procedure and item-wise pricing.
Scope appears institutional-scale based on a public health facility procurement. The 180-day bid validity is standard; submission is online only via PPRA portal. Bidders must meet eligibility checks and provide origin certificates. This appears a one-off annual procurement rather than a framework contract, so margin structure should reflect single-year delivery planning.
Who can bid: Eligible suppliers include registered firms not previously engaged in consulting with the Institute, not blacklisted by any government department or PPRA, and not financially dependent government enterprises. Typically, suppliers must hold valid NTN and SECP registration. Those with prior consulting contracts with the Institute or on any PPRA blacklist are explicitly ineligible.
