Description / Scope of Work
THQ Hospital Chichawatni, operating under the P&S Healthcare Department of the Government of Punjab, invites sealed bids for a framework contract to procure medical gases during the financial year 2026-2027. The procurement covers four product categories: Compressed Medical Oxygen in 48 CFT cylinders (10 cylinders per month), Compressed Medical Oxygen in 240 CFT cylinders (350 cylinders per month), Nitrous Oxide Large cylinders (5 cylinders per year), and Nitrous Oxide Small cylinders (10 cylinders per year). The total estimated contract value is PKR 12,000,000, with individual item values ranging from PKR 150,000 to PKR 11,000,000. This framework contract will support the hospital's ongoing medical gas requirements throughout 2026-2027.
Eligible bidders must be manufacturers, suppliers, or valid licensed Sales and Service Dealers as required for their respective product category. Bidders shall not be under any declaration of blacklisting by government departments or the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA). Government-owned enterprises may participate only if they are legally and financially autonomous, operate under commercial law, and are not dependent agencies. A bid security of 2% of the estimated amount for each line item, payable as CDR, Pay Order, or Demand Draft, is mandatory. Bidders must possess valid NTN and Sales Tax registration certificates, with taxes to be deducted per applicable government rules.
Bidding documents are available from the Office of the Medical Superintendent at THQ Hospital Chichawatni or may be downloaded from the Punjab PPRA website at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk. Sealed bids must be delivered to the hospital office on or before 11:00 a.m. on 17th September 2026. Bid opening will occur at 11:30 a.m. on the same date in the presence of bidders' representatives who choose to attend.
