The Power Development Organization in Muzaffarabad, Kashmir invites Request for Proposals from qualified consultants and joint ventures for conducting a comprehensive feasibility study to identify solar, wind, and geothermal energy corridors within Azad Jammu and Kashmir. This procurement follows a Single Stage Two Envelope procedure, utilizing the Quality and Cost Based Selection method in accordance with AJK PPRA Rules 2017. Eligible firms must possess a valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the appropriate category and provide an affidavit confirming they are not blacklisted by any government authority. The scope of work involves technical assessments to harness renewable energy resources across the territory. Interested bidders can purchase the RFP documents from the office of the Deputy Director (Planning) until May 19, 2026, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 5,000 Rupees. A bid security of 2 million Rupees is required to be submitted with the technical proposal. Sealed proposals must reach the designated address by 1400 hours on May 25, 2026, with the technical opening scheduled for 1430 hours on the same day.
