Description / Scope of Work
The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) in Islamabad, Federal Government invites sealed bids for the shifting of various 132kV transmission lines to facilitate the construction of the Margalla Avenue extension project. This technical infrastructure work involves five major circuits, including lines from Sangjani to HMC, Burhan, Margalla, and Fateh Jang. The project is estimated to cost approximately 17.95 million Rupees and is being conducted under the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) framework using a single-stage one-envelope procedure. Eligible contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category and with the active tax departments. Bidders must demonstrate technical proficiency in handling high-voltage power transmission systems and grid-related civil works. All interested firms must submit their electronic bids through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) portal. The final deadline for the submission of bids is 11:00 AM on 21 May 2026, with the official bid opening scheduled for 11:30 AM on the same day at the IESCO Head Office.
