Ghandhara Employees Co-Operative Housing Society Ltd. (GECHSL) in Karachi, Sindh, invites sealed bids from authorized electrical contractors for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a 4.7 MW electrical connection via an 11 kV feeder from the K-Electric (KE) grid station. The project, located in Sector 21-A, KDA Scheme No. 33, includes the construction of substations and associated civil works. Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Category C3 or above with specialized codes CE-10, EE-04, and EE-05. Additionally, firms must hold a valid Government of Sindh electrical contractor license, maintain active pre-qualification status with KE, and demonstrate a track record of completing similar electrification projects for housing societies. The bidding follows a Single-Stage Two-Envelope procedure. Tender documents can be collected from the society's registered office in Gulshan-e-Iqbal upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 25,000 PKR. Proposals must be submitted by 12:00 PM on 23 May 2026, with the technical bid opening scheduled for 12:30 PM the same day. The project is expected to be completed within six months of the work order issuance.
