Description / Scope of Work
The Office of the Executive Engineer, Operations Division Water & Power Department Gilgit, Government of Gilgit-Baltistan invites sealed item-rate tenders for two separate electrical infrastructure development schemes. Scheme 1 involves the extension and re-routing of a transmission and distribution line alongside the installation of a 100 KVA transformer at Rahimabad No. 2, carrying an estimated cost of 2.299 million Rupees and a required earnest money deposit of 45,984 Rupees. Scheme 2 features the supply and fixing of a 100 KVA step-down transformer at Jutal Jugote Colony, with an estimated project value of 1.450 million Rupees and earnest money set at 29,000 Rupees. Participating power engineering firms and electrical contractors must present a valid, original Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration certificate fully renewed for the financial year 2025-26. Bidding documents can be purchased directly from the division office located near Eidgah Konodass on cash payment. Sealed financial and technical bids must be submitted in person before the staggered morning deadlines on 02 June 2026, where they will be opened publicly in the presence of attending contractors.
