Description / Scope of Work
Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) invites electronic bids from registered manufacturers and suppliers for the supply of 50 kVA distribution transformers. The tender is issued on FCS basis for delivery to the Regional Store QESCO Quetta in Balochistan province. The procurement follows WAPDA and NTDC specifications as amended to date, and is open to manufacturers and suppliers registered with EPADs 2.0 Version, maintaining active tax payer status with the FBR, and holding valid FPMC (former PEPCO) registration or current DISCO/NTDC approval. The item quantity is 394 units of 50 kVA distribution transformers, with the basis of supply being FOB consignee to the Regional Store QESCO Quetta.
Bidders must be registered on the E-PADS 2.0 portal and maintain active tax filer status. Bid security in the form of an original Bank Guarantee or CDR made payable to the Chief Executive Officer QESCO Quetta is mandatory as per Standard Bidding Documents on EPADS 2.0. Bids with conditional terms, partial documentation, or incomplete submissions without sealed original bid security will be rejected. All interested suppliers are directed to apply through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (E-PADS) portal at http://www.epads.gov.pk in accordance with PPRA regulations.
Electronic bids must be submitted via EPADS 2.0 on or before 9 June 2026 at 12:00 noon. Tender opening will occur on the same date at 12:30 PM in the office of the Manager (Material Management) at QESCO Headquarters, Zarghoon Road Quetta, in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Bid documents and full tender details are available on the PPRA and QESCO websites. QESCO reserves the right to accept or reject any bid as per PPRA Rule 33(j).
