Description / Scope of Work
The Health & Population Department of Punjab invites proposals for the supply of one 400 KVA transformer on FOR (Free on Rail) basis for the Trauma Center at THQ Hospital Daska. This procurement is referenced under Letter No. 0329-30 dated 30-04-2026 from the Superintending Engineer (E) GEPCO Circle Cantt, with an estimated cost of PKR 2.8 million. The transformer supply is required for critical medical infrastructure at the hospital located in Daska, Gujranwala district, to support the trauma center's operational power requirements.
Eligible bidders must be registered manufacturers or suppliers of electrical transformers, as listed in the invitation. The bid security requirement is 2 percent of the estimated cost, equivalent to PKR 56,000, which must be submitted in physical form to the Office of the Procurement Officer at THQ Hospital Daska. Bidders must comply with Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (as amended) and Punjab Procurement Regulations 2024 regarding e-procurement procedures. All interested firms must submit written confirmation of their intent to bid prior to the submission deadline.
E-bids must be submitted electronically through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (E-PADS) no later than 10th June 2026 at 11:00 AM. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 4th June 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Office of the Medical Superintendent where bidders may seek clarifications through EPADS. Bid opening will occur on the same submission date at 11:30 AM. Late bids will not be accepted.
