Description / Scope of Work
Rawalpindi Teaching Hospital Rawalpindi invites electronic bids and tenders from eligible manufacturers, importers, sole agents and registered distributors for the procurement of linen material during the financial year 2026-2027. The supply will be provided on free delivery to consignee's end basis in Rawalpindi, Punjab. This is a single-year contract funded by the Government of Punjab Health Department through the institution's allocated budget head of account. The scope includes all required linen materials as specified in the attached schedule of requirements and technical specifications provided in the bidding documents.
Eligible bidders must be original manufacturers or, in the case of imported goods, sole agents or importers in Pakistan with valid authorization from foreign principals, along with valid income tax and sales tax registration. Bidders must submit a copy of their registration certificate and Memorandum of Association or Partnership deed registered with the Registrar of Companies in Pakistan. Additionally, bidders shall not be under any declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices by any government agency, local body or public sector organization. A bid security of two percent of the estimated price as mentioned in the demand list must be submitted in the name of the Medical Superintendent, DHQ Hospital Rawalpindi as per PPRA Rules, with photocopies attached to the technical offer and original security attached to the financial offer.
Bidding documents containing detailed specifications, general and special conditions of contract, technical specifications and price schedules are available for download from the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website at http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk and e-PADS https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. Interested bidders must submit their tenders by 10 June 2026 before 11:00 AM, with opening of bids scheduled for the same date at 11:30 AM. The tender submission must include all required knockout clauses documents including valid NADRA national ID card, company profile, tax certificates, authorization letter, affidavits on stamp paper and bid security.
