Description / Scope of Work
The Municipal Committee, Dadu is conducting an open auction to recover outstanding taxes and fees for the fiscal year 2026-2027, commencing from 01.07.2026 to 30.06.2027 (both days inclusive). The auction will be held under the chairmanship of the Chairman Auction Committee on 11th June 2026 at the office of the Municipal Committee in Dadu, Sindh. The auction programme includes a second attempt on 16.6.2026 at 11:00 AM and a third attempt on 23.6.2026 at 11:00 AM in case of unsuccessful initial proceedings. The recovery effort encompasses multiple tax categories including property tax, latrine tax, slaughter fee, cattle pit fee, and parking fees on vehicles at bus terminals.
Participants in the auction must meet specified eligibility requirements. All contractors and bidders are required to submit a security deposit equivalent to 10% of the official bid amount in the form of a call deposit or demand draft, which will be provided to participants along with copies of the CMDC before the auction commences. The security deposit is non-refundable for unsuccessful bidders following the completion of auction proceedings. Successful contractors are obligated to pay the full bid amount and comply with all applicable Federal Sales Tax (FST) and Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) tax requirements as per standard procedures.
Bid documents and detailed information regarding taxes and fees are available at the Municipal Committee office during regular office hours. The auction is open to the general public, and no defaulting contractor, their agent, or relative may participate. The Municipal Committee reserves the right to accept any bid or reject all bids during the auction proceedings.
