Description / Scope of Work
The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) invites electronic bids from the original equipment manufacturer and authorized distributors for the procurement of CF 132 & 220kV convert equipment, coupling voltage transformers, switchyard bus bar protection and FOB basis through ICB for Mangla Power Station located in Punjab. This tender is issued under WAPDA's Decade of Dams initiative, which focuses on comprehensive rehabilitation and modernization of critical infrastructure across the country's water and power sectors. The estimated bid security amounts to PKR 1,300,000 for one tender and PKR 1,400,000 for another, with a completion period of 180 days for equipment supply and installation at the power station.
Bidders must be either the original equipment manufacturer with a valid active list (VAL) from the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) or authorized distributors and agents of the original manufacturer. Eligible bidders shall obtain and submit detailed technical specifications, compliance documentation, and bid security in the form of either a CDR (Cash Deposit Receipt) from a scheduled bank or a bank guarantee issued by a scheduled bank in favor of the Resident Engineer, Power Station Mangla. All bids must be submitted in electronic format through the designated portal on the specified closing date, with bid opening to take place at the office of the Resident Engineer, Power Station Mangla on the same day.
Bid documents and detailed technical requirements are available from the WAPDA office or the Resident Engineer at Power Station Mangla, with submission instructions available through the EPROCUREMENT portal. Prospective bidders should obtain clarification on all technical documents prior to the closing deadline. The procurement agency may reject all bids at any time prior to acceptance of a bid as per PPRA rules 2004.
