Description / Scope of Work
The LG&RDD Tehsil Tangi, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites sealed tenders for the repair and maintenance of a damaged transformer located at PK-62, District Charsadda under the Saving 2025-26 financial year. The estimated cost of the work is 0.90 million rupees, and the tender is being issued based on the MRS (2025 1st Bi Annual) schedule for non-MRS items. This work falls within the administrative jurisdiction of Charsadda district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The procurement follows the single stage single envelope procedure through EPADS portal and is open to government contractors registered with PEC and enlisted with the C&W Department as per the Centralized Enlistment Policy.
Only PESCO registered contractors and firms are eligible to apply. Bidders must possess a Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration with codes EE04 or EE05, and must hold a valid Inspectorate of Electricity, Energy & Power Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa License in Category C or E. The bid security requirement is 2 percent of the estimated cost, amounting to 18,000 rupees, which must be submitted in the form of call deposit in favor of the Assistant Director LG&RDD Tehsil Tangi. All original bid securities and additional securities must be entered in EPADS at the time of bid submission.
Bidding documents can be downloaded from the official EPADS website at www.portalkp.eprocure.gov.pk after the NIT is published. The last date and time for submission of electronic tender forms is 18-06-2026 at 12:00 pm, with electronic bid opening scheduled for the same date at 12:30 pm. Bidders must upload neatly filled documents with clear scan copies, and rates may be offered as percentage above, below, or at par with the engineer's estimate. Online clarification requests must be submitted by 05:00 pm on 12-06-2026, and bids will remain valid for 90 days from the closing date.
