Description / Scope of Work
The Town Committee Sakrand, District Shaheed Benazir Abad, Sindh, invites sealed bids from interested firms and contractors for the provision of solid waste door-to-door collection, road sweeping, street cleaning and maintenance of open drains and sewerage lines across Wards 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 of Sakrand town, including the Zero Point interchange and bypass roads. The contract is for twelve months commencing from July 2026 to 30 June 2027. This is the first attempt to procure these essential municipal sanitation services under Sindh Local Council Contract Rules 2016. The estimated cost is quoted in millions with a 5 percent call deposit requirement and 5 percent rate quoted as specified in the tender document.
Eligibility requirements mandate that participating firms must provide full organizational details, permanent address, contact numbers and email. Bidders must submit biodata of technical staff, financial stability certificates from scheduled banks covering the last three years, affidavits confirming the accuracy of information provided, tax registration (NTN) certificates and CNIC copies. Firms must be registered with the Sindh Revenue Board and provide affidavits confirming they have not been involved in litigation, abandoned government contracts or been blacklisted. Documentary evidence of machinery and equipment ownership plus certificates of satisfactory completion of similar works within the last three years are mandatory. Earnest money specified must be pledged as call deposit in the name of the Town Officer through any scheduled bank and attached to bid documents, otherwise bids will be rejected. Conditional and telegraphic bids will not be entertained.
Bid documents are available from the undersigned office during office hours from 8 June 2026 to 22 June 2026 at 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM. Sealed bids must be received by 22 June 2026 at 12:00 PM and opened the same date at 1:00 PM in the presence of the procurement committee and interested bidders. Should official activities require postponement, the second attempt date is 23 June to 7 July 2026 with submission and opening at 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM on 7 July 2026 respectively.
