Description / Scope of Work
Lahore Electric Supply Company invites sealed bids for safe loading, unloading, carriage, transportation, assembling, excavation, erection, complete earthing, making of concrete foundation, curing and back filling of high tension steel structures and PCC spun poles. Six tenders are advertised: EP-36 and EP-37 for 58-feet HT steel structures under Okara and ELR construction divisions respectively; EP-38 and EP-39 for 45-feet HT steel structures under ELR and Sheikhupura construction divisions; EP-40 for 45-feet HT PCC spun poles; and EP-41 for 36 and 31-feet HT/LT PCC spun poles under Sheikhupura construction division. Each tender has an estimated cost of Rs. 5.00 million. The project is located in Punjab province across multiple construction divisions.
Contractors and firms must be approved, registered and renewed for 2025-26 with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) holding specialization codes EE-04 or EE-05. Bidders must also be registered with PRA/FBR and appear on the active taxpayer list. Documentary evidence of PEC registration, PRA/FBR registration, and satisfactory performance certificates from DISCOs or relevant organizations demonstrating similar work execution are mandatory. An earnest money bid security of Rs. 100,000 in the form of a valid CDR, pay order, or bank guarantee from any scheduled bank of Pakistan must be submitted to the Project Director Construction Circle LESCO at 132 KV Grid Station F-Block LDA Avenue-I Lahore before the bid submission deadline.
E-bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, specifications and requirements are available on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/. All bids must be prepared in accordance with e-bidding document instructions and submitted through EPADS V2.0 by registered bidders only. The bid submission deadline is 23 June 2026 at 11:30 AM, with bid opening at 12:00 PM the same day under single stage single envelope procedure using least cost based selection. A performance security of 10 percent of the tender amount shall be furnished by the successful bidder.
