Description / Scope of Work
The Bank of Punjab, headquartered in Lahore, Punjab, invites sealed bids for the procurement of Data Center Load Balancers through a single-stage, two-envelope bidding procedure in accordance with PPRA rules. The estimated cost of this procurement is Rs. 60,000,000 (approximately USD equivalent), with deliverables and installation required at designated sites across Pakistan. The scope includes supply, delivery, and installation of load balancing equipment within eight to twelve weeks of purchase order issuance. Bids must be submitted exclusively through the E-Pads portal and must comply with all specifications detailed in Schedule-A of the bidding documents.
All bidders must submit a call deposit of two percent (2%) of the estimated cost (Rs. 60,000,000) in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt issued by a scheduled bank operating in Pakistan. The bid security must be denominated in Pakistani Rupees and delivered in a sealed envelope to the office of the Head of Centralized Procurement at the specified address on or before 23 June 2026 at 11:00 AM. Bids must be quoted exclusively in USD and include all applicable taxes such as GST and income tax. Bidders must be substantially responsive to technical criteria, offer clear pricing without escapable quotations, and demonstrate capability to meet delivery timelines. Alternative bids will not be considered, and bids not submitted in conformity with specifications and terms shall be rejected as non-responsive.
Technical bids will be opened on 23 June 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Head Office, BOP Tower, 10-B, Block E/II, Main Boulevard, Gulberg III, Lahore. Bid documents are available for download through the E-Pads portal, and all inquiries should be directed to the Centralized Procurement Department at telephone 042-35774009 or email procurement@bop.com.pk. The bid validity period is ninety days from the closing date. Failure to supply items within the stipulated timeframe will result in penalties and forfeiture of bid security as specified in clause 27.
