Five maintenance and repair works for W&P Division Astore by Government of Gilgit-Baltistan

The Government of Gilgit-Baltistan, Office of the Executive Engineer, Water & Power Division Astore invites sealed tenders from approved government contractors and firms for five separate maintenance and repair works. The tender reference is EE-W&P-Ast(Cash-7)2025-26, issued on 9th June 2026. The five works comprise general overhaul and refabrication of a turbine at 500KVA HPS Mir Malik with estimated cost of 1,103,200 Pakistani Rupees; repair and rewinding of a distribution transformer at H/O Astore valued at 1,146,530 Pakistani Rupees; supply and maintenance of materials for H/Q Astore estimated at 1,099,000 Pakistani Rupees; repair and rewinding of a distribution transformer at H/Q Astore with estimated cost of 1,254,991 Pakistani Rupees; and supply, fitting and bearing replacement for a 7222 400KVA Harcho power house along with supply of turbine oil for power houses valued at 1,107,715 Pakistani Rupees. All works are located in the Astore region of Gilgit-Baltistan province.

Eligibility requires contractors and firms to be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category with duly renewed registration for the year 2025-26, and to have renewed W&P Department Goodwill Guarantee for the same year. Bidders must submit earnest money equal to two percent of the estimated cost along with their bidding documents. Bidders are required to submit the challan through a government contractor on account of C-03518.

Bidding documents are available from 22nd June 2026 starting at 09:30 AM. Sealed bids must be submitted on 23rd June 2026, with opening of bids commencing at 10:00 AM on the same day.
