Description / Scope of Work
The Local Government Department, Government of Sindh, invites proposals from qualified consultants for consultancy services covering planning, design, and construction supervision for the construction of a bund for reclamation of land and the construction of a new graveyard and park in Korangi, Karachi, Sindh. This project aims to develop essential municipal infrastructure in the Korangi area. The tender reference is PM/LGP/GOS/148/2026, issued by the Office of the Project Manager (Mega Projects) situated at Room 05, Ground Floor, Annexe Building, Old KBCA Building, behind Civic Centre, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi.
Interested bidders must be reputable consultants registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) holding a valid registration certificate in the relevant field and maintaining active enlistment on the Active Taxpayer List of the Federal Board of Revenue. Consultants must have valid technical and financial expertise to execute the proposed work and declare no conflict of interest. The Request for Proposal (RFP) documents can be downloaded from the SPPRA e-Procurement portal at http://portalsindh.eprocurement.gov.pk after registering on the platform. Bidders should carefully review all eligibility criteria and technical specifications outlined in the RFP document.
Proposals must be submitted online through the SPPRA e-Procurement System at http://portalsindh.eprocurement.gov.pk by 02 July 2026 at 14:00 (2:00 PM). Technical proposals will be opened on the same date at 15:30 (2:30 PM) in the office of the Project Manager, Local Government Projects, GOS, in the presence of the Consultant Selection Committee and interested bidders. Financial proposals will be opened after technical evaluation. A pre-bid conference will be held on 23 June 2026 at 14:30 (2:30 PM) at the same office location. Written queries should be submitted at least one week before the pre-bid meeting. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all proposals in accordance with SPPRA rules.
