Description / Scope of Work
The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA), through its Resident Engineer at Jinnah Hydel Power Station in Kalabagh, Mianwali District, Punjab, invites electronic bids for repair works of damaged rotor poles at JHPS. This procurement is referenced as JHPS/ITR/RRP-155R and covers specialized hydel power station maintenance with a contract completion period of three months. The tender is issued under WAPDA's Decade of Dams initiative and represents critical infrastructure rehabilitation work in Punjab's power generation sector.
Bidders must be registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Department and must appear on the Active Tax Payers List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue to be eligible for participation. Each bidder is required to furnish a bid security of Rs. 150,000 in the form of a Cross Demand Receipt (CDR) made payable to R.E JHP Station Kalabagh. The CDR must be issued in the name of the firm and submitted both electronically and in original form along with one copy of the bidding document before the closing deadline.
E-bidding documents are available on the EPADS portal at www.eprocure.gov.pk for registered bidders. Electronic bids must be submitted through EPADS by 2 July 2026 up to 1030 hours, with opening scheduled for the same day at 1100 hours in the Conference Room of the Resident Engineer's office at Kalabagh. Manual bids will not be accepted. A Single Stage One Envelope procedure shall be followed. The Grievance Redress Committee notification is available on EPADS and the PPRA website.
