National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited (NGC), formerly NTDC, invites sealed bids for the maintenance and refurbishment of cooling fans work of 160 MVA 220/132 kV Auto Transformer Bank at Grid Station Dhabej, located in the Special Economic Zone of Sindh province. This is a single-stage, two-envelope procurement conducted on the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) basis in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders as defined under Section B-3 of the bidding documents. The scope of work encompasses complete maintenance and refurbishment services for the transformer cooling system at the specified 220 kV voltage level.
Eligibility requirements mandate that bidders must hold a Tax Clearance Certificate for financial year 2024-2025 and be registered with the Income Tax and Provisional Sales Tax Departments. Bidders must maintain active taxpayer status and be listed on the Federal Board of Revenue's active taxpayers list, registered with PEC in an appropriate category, and possess documentary evidence of at least one similar transformer maintenance project of 132 kV or above voltage level. All bids require bid security amounting to not less than PKR 80,000 as a percentage of the total bid price, with the security to be submitted in the form of a pay order, bank draft, or banker's cheque made payable to the Executive Engineer, TLC Division EHV-II.
Bidding documents priced at PKR 5,000 (non-refundable) are available from the Office of the Executive Engineer, TLC Division EHV-II, NGC of Pakistan, located at Bungalow No. B-2 NTPS Colony, T.M Khan Road, Site Area, Hyderabad, Sindh, with telephone contact at 0335-7401970. Complete sets of bidding documents in English language may be obtained during office hours until one day before the tender opening. Sealed bids must reach B-2, NTPS Colony, T.M Khan Road, S.I.T.E Area Hyderabad on or before 10:00 hours Pakistan Standard Time on June 29, 2026, with technical bid opening scheduled for 11:30 hours the same day. NGC reserves the right to reject any or all bids and award the contract to the lowest evaluated and technically responsive bidder.
