Description / Scope of Work
The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi invites quotations for the procurement and installation of a Baithak signage measuring 14 feet by 2 feet with complete installation services at the Staff Cafeteria on the Main Campus in Karachi, Sindh. The signage shall feature precision laser-cut and laser-welded aluminum construction with a 4mm thick letter face and 3mm thick letter returns, incorporating a 2.5-inch deep embossed channel letter profile. The letters will be powder-coated and finished with premium quality 2K Epoxy Paint in a matte colour finish, backed by a five-year paint warranty. The scope of work includes complete fabrication, electrical installation, and fixing of letters to the cafeteria wall using nuts and bolt fittings with proper mobile scaffolding. All wiring shall be done with Pakistan Cables or equivalent, routed through walls to remain invisible from the front, covered with PVC channels, and protected by an IP67 water-resistant box for rainy season protection.
The signage illumination shall comprise Interone or NC LED modules in warm white or equivalent, with a five-year LED warranty. The power supply and driver must meet IP-67 rating with greater than 92 percent efficiency, operate at 90-305V AC, and carry CE, UL, and ISO 9001 certifications, with a two-year power supply warranty. All electrical works including internal wiring, connectors, drivers, and accessories required for proper operation shall be complete in all respects. Material is subject to final inspection at delivery, and payment will be made through crossed cheque after receipt of invoice and delivery. A liquidity damage penalty of 2 percent per month will be imposed on delayed delivery.
Bid documents are to be submitted to the Purchase Department at IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi, by 22 June 2026 at 5:00 PM. Delivery location is the Stores at IBA Main Campus. Quotations must include all government taxes, levies, and charges as applicable. General Sales Tax will be charged on applicable items only, and stamp duty of 0.35 percent for goods against total purchase order value will be levied accordingly. IBA reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation without assigning reasons, and to issue purchase orders to the lowest responsive bidder.
