Purchase and Fabrication of Moveable Hand Carts by Municipal Corporation Murree

Municipal Corporation Murree invites sealed bids for the purchase and fabrication of moveable hand carts through an open electronic tendering system. This procurement is for the Murree municipal area in Punjab province and will be conducted in accordance with PPRA Rules 2014 as amended. All eligible contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) are invited to participate in the E-Tendering process via the Government of Punjab's procurement portal at https://Punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. Bidders must register on the E-PADS website and submit a scanned copy of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) worth 5% of the estimated cost through the online portal, with the original CDR submitted to the Municipal Corporation Murree office.

To participate in this tender, contractors must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and must hold the requisite professional licenses. Bidders are required to submit a Call Deposit Receipt equivalent to 5% of the estimated project cost as earnest money security. If the lowest bidder's quoted rate is more than 5% below the DNIT (Departmental Needs and Inventory Template) of the work, the bidder must deposit the difference as quality insurance security within 15 days of tender opening through a Call Deposit or Bank Guarantee. False information, fake CDRs, or non-compliance will result in disqualification and potential referral to PEC and PPRA for legal action.

Contractors must submit online item-wise rates only until 04.07.2026 at 01:00 PM. The tender will be opened on 04.07.2026 at 02:00 PM in the office of Municipal Corporation Murree in the presence of the Tenders Opening Committee and participating contractors or their authorized representatives. Only applicants who are clear in document scrutiny will be considered, and provincial applications will not be accepted. The Bill of Quantities (BOQ) is available on the tender portal for download.
