Extension of 11kV Room at 132kV Grid Station by GEPCO

Gujranwala Electric Power Company Limited (GEPCO) invites open competitive bids for three extension works of 11kV Room at 132kV Grid Stations under tender reference TENDERS/PDGSC/GEPCO/2025-26. The scope includes extension of 11kV Room at 132kV Grid Station Gujrat-I with estimated cost of Rs. 2,925,467, extension at Gujrat-II valued at Rs. 3,911,395, and extension at Jahal Pur Jattan with cost of Rs. 3,419,717. All works are located in Punjab province and must be completed within 60 days of contract award. Each tender will be processed separately as a single stage two envelope procedure as per PPRA Rules 2004 Clause 36(b), with bids comprising two separate envelopes containing sealed financial and technical proposals.

Eligibility criteria require bidders to hold valid PEC registration renewal for the year 2025-26 under CE-10 and EE05 category codes. Contractors must demonstrate average annual turnover with tax return from FBR equal to or exceeding the BOQ amount for the last two years, verified from certified auditors. Current bank statements dated from tender publication to opening showing 15 percent balance of individual works are mandatory. Bidders must provide proof of experience through at most two valid work orders of similar nature with cumulative cost equal to or more than 100 percent of BOQ amount, supported by work completion certificates obtained from work order issuing authority for the last five years. For joint ventures as successful bidders, performance security must be submitted in Joint Bank Account with Joint active NTN in FBR and PRA, with agreement on judicial stamp paper of Rs. 3000 attested by Notary Public. Bid security of 2 percent of BOQ cost must accompany technical bids as Bank Draft, Pay order, CDR or Bank Guarantee from scheduled Pakistani bank valid for 120 days.

Bid submission deadline is 15.07.2026 at 11:00 hours with opening scheduled for the same date. Performance security of 10 percent of contract price is required after letter of intent issuance. Contractors must attach active registration certificates from PRA for PST, submit company profile proving five years grid station work experience with sound financial position, provide authority letter on 100 rupee judicial stamp paper for representatives, and ensure tender rates are filled in both figures and words with proper signatures.
