Description / Scope of Work
District Council Gujrat invites electronic bids through EPADS for the execution of seven construction and maintenance projects during the financial year 2026-2027. The procurement scope includes construction of streets and drains in multiple village locations including Awan Colony, Bhimber Road, Nullah village, Saida Barham, and Malkowala in Gujrat, as well as maintenance and laying of tuff tiles on streets in Qabristan Model Town and construction of a road from government primary school to village Chak Behram. The total estimated cost of works is approximately PKR 60.55 million with bid security requirements ranging from 1.06 million to 9.98 million rupees depending on individual project value. All projects are located in Gujrat district, Punjab province.
Eligible bidders must be registered on EPADS and relevant departments including Income Tax, Sales Tax, PRA and Professional Tax where applicable. Firms and contractors must hold valid PEC licenses in relevant category codes and demonstrate active status with FBR and PRA. A fresh affidavit confirming the bidder has not been blacklisted under PPRA rules is mandatory. Bid security at five percent of estimated cost must be provided in favor of the Chief Officer, District Council Gujrat, and successful bidders must furnish performance guarantees within fifteen days of award. Procurement shall follow single stage single envelope procedure under PPRA Rules 2014.
Bidding documents are available for download from the PPRA website at http://eproc.punjab.gov.pk/ActiveTenders.aspx and EPADS portal at https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. Original CDR must be submitted by 22 July 2026 at 11:00 AM, with electronic bids closing at 09:00 AM the same date and opening at 11:30 AM. All interested applicants must be registered on EPADS to participate. The tender follows Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority guidelines with lowest rates subject to approval from competent authority.
