Description / Scope of Work
The Executive Engineer Warsak Canals Division under the Irrigation Department of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites electronic bids on the EPADS system for eleven sub-works comprising annual maintenance and repair to irrigation works in the Warsak Canals System during 2026-27. The total estimated cost of all works is approximately 27.5 million Pakistani rupees. Works include maintenance and repair to gravity canals and lift canals at various reach distances, mechanical and electrical components of Warsak Pump House, civil nature works, and flood protection works under the jurisdiction of both Warsak Gravity Canal and Warsak Lift Canal. All works are located in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and will be executed during the specified fiscal year.
All bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and hold valid registration with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority established under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Act 2013. Bid security equivalent to two percent of the estimated cost plus stamp duty must be submitted as a deposit at call or through leading courier source in the shape of Deposit at call. Bids are valid for one hundred twenty days from the date of opening. Electronic bidding shall be conducted on the Above/Below system based on the BOQ or Engineer's estimate as per KPPRA Notification dated 10-05-2022.
Bid documents containing all terms, conditions and relevant instructions for the work can be downloaded from the Irrigation Department or Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority official websites at www.irrigation.gkp.pk and www.kppra.gov.pk. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 15 July 2026 at 11:00 AM in the office of the Executive Engineer Peshawar Canals Division. The last date and time for submission of bids along with relevant documents is 21 July 2026 up to 12:00 Noon, which will be opened the same day at 12:30 PM in the office of Executive Engineer Warsak Canals Division Peshawar in the presence of contractors and their representatives who wish to attend.
