Description / Scope of Work
The Purchase Department of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of a fully automated hemoglobin electrophoresis system to be installed on a reagent or rental basis in the Hematology Section of the Pathology Department. This is the third procurement round for this equipment, with a contract period of three years. The equipment will be located at PIMS Hospital, Sector G-8/3, Islamabad, Federal Territory. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and is being conducted under reference P46649 with reserved funds allocated for eligible payments under the contract.
The procurement will be conducted using a Single Stage-Two Envelope bidding methodology with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules 2004. All bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a Pay Order, Call Deposit, or alternatively a bid securing declaration in the format specified in the bidding documents. Eligible bidders must meet the specified eligibility criteria and possess relevant licenses and qualifications as outlined in the bidding documents. Interested bidders must register on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 to participate in the bidding process.

E-bids prepared in accordance with the instructions must be submitted through EPADS v2.0 on or before Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Bids will be opened using EPADS v2.0 on the same portal.
