Description / Scope of Work
The Purchase Department of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad, Federal Territory, has reserved funds for the procurement of a tube welder required for the Blood Bank facility. This is a goods procurement under the FY 2026-27 budget allocation. The procurement is being conducted through a Single Stage-Two Envelope bidding process using the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules, 2004. The procurement notice is published with reference number P48740 and bidders are invited to submit sealed bids through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (ePADS v2.0).
All bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a Pay Order, Call Deposit, or a Bid Securing Declaration as specified in the bidding documents. Eligible bidders registered on ePADS v2.0 are required to comply with all eligibility criteria and evaluation requirements outlined in the standard bidding document. Bidders must ensure they meet the technical specifications and related services requirements for the tube welder as detailed in the items and specification section of the bidding document.

E-bids must be submitted through ePADS v2.0 on or before Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 11:00 AM, and will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM.
