Description / Scope of Work
The Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation invites expressions of interest from eligible firms, individuals, or joint ventures to operate three customer service centers located at Sakhi Hasan, Haroonabad, and Karsaz in Karachi, Sindh. These centers will facilitate consumers with all KW&SC-related issues including water supply, sewerage collection, waste water management, and revenue collection services. The operator shall deploy teams of experts with technical support staff and install operational equipment, consumables, and required software licenses to run each center efficiently. Services must be delivered in accordance with the submitted proposal and work methodology to ensure best service and relief to KW&SC consumers in minimum time. The corporation, established under the Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation Act 2023, serves more than 25 million residents across the metropolitan area and operates under the Government of Sindh.
Eligible participants must possess valid registration with the Federal Board of Revenue and maintain an active tax payer list status. Registration with the Sindh Revenue Board is also mandatory. Applicants must submit an affidavit on Rs.100 stamp paper confirming no involvement in litigation against any organization, department, or agency, and must not be blacklisted by any authority. All interested parties whether individual firms, corporate entities, or joint ventures registered with FBR and SRB are encouraged to apply.
Expressions of interest must be submitted through the EPADS system of SPPRA in accordance with the scope of services outlined in the EOI documents and clause 36(a) of SPPRA Rules 2010 as amended to date. All requisite information and documentation must accompany the proposal submission. Interested bidders should review the complete EOI document for detailed scope of services, staffing requirements, service level agreements, operations and maintenance specifications, and commercial terms to prepare comprehensive proposals.
