Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Infrastructure Development Company Limited (PIDCL) invites bids for the construction and laying of multiple infrastructure development projects in Sindh province. The procurement covers numerous civil works packages including road construction, street improvement, pipeline laying, and allied services across various locations in Sindh, notably in Karachi and surrounding districts. The total scope encompasses multiple contracts with estimated costs ranging from Rs 5 million to over Rs 25 million, with specific packages for drainage systems, streets at various neighborhoods, water supply lines, and road infrastructure development. Individual contract packages are detailed in the bidding documents, with comprehensive project schedules and technical specifications available for each work lot.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the relevant tax authorities and possess valid NTN (National Tax Number). All bids require submission of bid security in the form of a non-refundable fee of Rs 5,000 payable to PIDCL or in the form of Call Deposit/CDR/Bank Guarantee issued by scheduled banks operating in Pakistan. Bidders must furnish Performance Security equivalent to the contract value and comply with all technical and financial submission requirements as outlined in the tender documents. Only bidders pre-qualified by PIDCL or holding valid Performance Certificate from PPRA offices are eligible to participate.
Bidders may obtain tender documents from PIDCL's office at Bahria Complex IV, 8th Floor Extension Block, Gaur Karachi during working hours, or download electronically via e-PADS system (e-procurement portal). Bids must be submitted electronically through e-PADS 2.0 before the specified closing date of 30 July 2026. The tender opening will occur at PIDCL, Bahria Complex IV, 8th Floor, in the presence of the Procurement Committee and authorized representatives.
