Description / Scope of Work
University of Engineering and Technology Taxila invites online tenders from registered engineering firms and contractors for three construction and renovation projects under the Punjab Public Procurement Regulatory Authority e-tendering system. The projects comprise renovation and repairing of AB Hall toilet blocks valued at Rs 13,579,743, renovation of two guest rooms in the foreign faculty hostel worth Rs 1,764,552, and provision and fixing of a separate water supply line from B-type to F-type residences estimated at Rs 1,713,807. All works are located at UET Taxila in Punjab province with completion periods of either 60 or 120 days depending on the project scope.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and possess a valid renewed PEC license for financial year 2026-27. Contractors and firms must also be registered on the Punjab PPRA website at www.ep.punjab.gov.pk. As per PPRA Rules 2014 Clause-27, all intending bidders are required to upload earnest money in the form of a Certified Deposit Receipt (CDR) equivalent to 5 percent of the estimated cost in favor of the Executive Engineer, Building and Works Section UET Taxila. Submission of false or fabricated documents such as CDR or PEC licenses will result in immediate disqualification and disciplinary proceedings.
Online tender submission through E-Procure will close on 8 September 2026 at 12:00 PM with bids opened at 12:30 PM the same day in the presence of the evaluation committee and interested bidders or their representatives. Original CDR documents must be physically furnished at the opening. Bidders must quote item-wise rates and totals in the financial proposal; rates quoted as percentages above or below the estimated cost will not be accepted.
