Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Infrastructure Development Company Limited (PIDCL), an entity under the Ministry of Housing and Works, Government of Pakistan, invites sealed bids through electronic procurement for provision and laying of sewerage lines, water supply lines, and associated civil works at multiple locations across Sindh province, primarily in Karachi and surrounding districts. The tender encompasses approximately 25 separate contracts for sewerage and water supply infrastructure projects in various neighborhoods and areas including South Karachi, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Hyderabad, Jamshoro, and other districts, with estimated contract values ranging from approximately PKR 266,000 to PKR 914,000 per contract package. The total scope of work involves construction, installation, and laying of sewerage lines, C.C. turf precast concrete pipes, internal link streets, water distribution networks, and associated drainage infrastructure across multiple administrative divisions and union councils.
Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and hold valid licenses for infrastructure and construction works. Bid security must be provided in the form of a Pay Order, CDR, or Bank Guarantee mentioning the contractor's firm name in favor of PIDCL. The security amount typically ranges from 2% to 5% of the contract value depending on the specific contract package. All bids must be accompanied by scanned copies of required documents including security instruments, bid submission forms, and performance certifications from PIDCL offices as prescribed.
Bidding documents can be obtained online through the official ePADS portal (https://eproc.gov.pk) by paying the non-refundable fee per contract package, which varies from PKR 500 to PKR 1,500. Bids must be submitted electronically through ePADS 2.0 with sealed tender fees, security documents, and E-Stamp papers. Bid opening is scheduled for dates in late July 2026, and interested bidders should contact PIDCL at their Bahria Complex office in Karachi or check the procurement portal for detailed contract specifications, technical requirements, and complete tender conditions.
