Description / Scope of Work
National Grid Company (NGC) invites bids for construction, completion of civil works, erection, stringing, testing and commissioning for protection measures of towers 118 and 119 of the 500kV Nokhar-New Lahore single circuit quad bundle transmission line. The work comprises structural strengthening and protective installations at two specific tower locations on this high-voltage transmission corridor serving the Punjab province. This is a works contract issued by the Executive Engineer of the TLC Division (EHV-I) under NGC's procurement framework, with tender reference XEN-EHV-TLCLHR-02(R)-2026. The project scope includes civil construction, tower erection activities, conductor stringing operations, comprehensive testing protocols, and final commissioning of all protection systems.
Bidders must meet NGC's standard eligibility criteria for similar transmission line works, holding appropriate contractor licenses and certifications recognized by the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) and relevant provincial authorities. Bid security declaration as per the prescribed form is mandatory. All bids must comply with the single stage-two envelope procurement process outlined in the bidding document. Financial and technical capacity assessment forms, past construction experience documentation, and performance guarantees are required components of the submission.
