Description / Scope of Work
This is a national-level civil works and transmission infrastructure project issued by the National Grid Company Pakistan, TLC Division (EHV-I), Lahore, as documented in Standard Bidding Document XEN-EHV-TLCLHR-01(R)-2026 with Corrigendum #1 (CORR-P57257-001). The scope encompasses construction and completion of civil works, erection, stringing, testing and commissioning for the conversion of tower numbers 42 and 43 of the 220KV double-circuit twin bundle transmission line between Sheikhupura and Ravi from suspension type insulators to tension type insulators. The works are located in the Lahore District, Punjab Province, and involve specialized electrical transmission infrastructure modifications on an existing high-voltage transmission corridor.
This is a single-stage, two-envelope procurement advertised nationally with the closing date for bid submission set for July 27, 2026. Bidders are required to meet specified eligibility criteria, possess relevant experience in transmission tower construction and electrical works, and provide documentary evidence of financial capacity and technical capability. Bid security in the form of a bid securing declaration is mandatory, along with submission of a performance guarantee form, integrity pact, and detailed past construction experience documentation demonstrating successful completion of similar high-voltage transmission projects.
