Description / Scope of Work
The Executive Engineer, Irrigation Division, Killa Abdullah, Balochistan is inviting tenders for the rehabilitation and strengthening of flood mitigation structures in Balochistan district under NIT No. 123-10-07-2026. This procurement is conducted in accordance with PPRA rules and through the e-PPRA electronic public procurement system. The scope of work involves comprehensive rehabilitation and structural strengthening of existing flood mitigation infrastructure to enhance their capacity and durability. The work is estimated at four hundred twenty thousand rupees and will be executed in Balochistan province. The project will be carried out in accordance with the 2014 PPRA rules. Contractors must have relevant experience in similar flood mitigation projects and must be pre-qualified as per the active list criteria. The bidding firm must not be blacklisted by any procuring agency of Pakistan. Contractors should clearly indicate the general nature of work to be seen in the site by providing relevant documentation and supporting data from previous similar projects.
Eligibility criteria require contractors to be registered with the relevant authorities and to possess valid licenses as required by the procurement rules. Bidders must submit bid security amounting to four percent of the estimated cost of the contract, which may be in the form of bank guarantee issued by a scheduled bank in Pakistan or in favor of the employer for a period of twenty eight days beyond the bid opening date. Contractors must provide evidence of their technical and financial capacity and must not have rejected any bids at any time prior to acceptance of a bid for a project tender.
Bid documents are available and may be obtained from the office of the Executive Engineer, Irrigation Division, Killa Abdullah, Balochistan. Bids must be submitted by July 27, 2026 before 09:00 AM through sealed envelopes. The bid opening will occur on the same date.
