Cables and Conductors Procurement by GEPCO Gujranwala

The Gujranwala Electric Power Company Limited (GEPCO) invites electronic bids from registered and prequalified firms for the procurement of cables and conductors under three tender packages. The procurement includes grounding conductors of 95mm and 600mm aluminium conductors, 1000 MCM and 500 MCM power cables single core, and control cables in various specifications ranging from 4x2.5mm² to 4x6mm². The total scope encompasses approximately 18,500 to 10,000 metres of various cable types to be delivered to GEPCO Warehouse in Wazirabad, Punjab. The estimated bid guarantee requirements range from PKR 0.8 million to PKR 2.150 million, with average annual turnover thresholds between PKR 32 million and PKR 86 million for the last three years.

Eligibility is restricted to registered and prequalified firms authorized as dealers or manufacturers by DISCOs, NTDC, WAPDA, GENCOs, or PPMC. All bidders must provide bid security in the form of pay orders, banker's cheques, call deposits, bank guarantees, or demand drafts. Bids must include valid type test reports from designated laboratories as specified in the NTDC Type Test Policy 2023. Conditional bids, late submissions, or bids without required bid guarantees will be rejected. Bid prices must include GST and all applicable duties and taxes.

Bidding documents are available on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/. Bidders must register on EPADS v2.0 on or before the tender opening date. Electronic bids will be opened on 30 July 2026 at specified times (11:00 AM, 11:05 AM, and 11:10 AM respectively) using EPADS v2.0. Bids must remain valid for 60 days, and bid guarantees must remain valid for 28 days beyond the bid validity date. The required delivery period is 120 days from purchase order issuance.
