For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
NGC is procuring civil works and full EPC scope (erection, testing, commissioning) for two independent 220kV bay expansion projects at major transmission grid stations in Punjab.
This is large-scale critical infrastructure work requiring integrated construction and electrical installation capabilities. The two-lot structure suggests bidders may compete for one or both; no indication of recurring work. Eighteen-month timeline to closure suggests competitive but not emergency procurement. Alignment with NGC's capital expansion plan may indicate future pipeline.
Who can bid: PEC licensing mandatory in appropriate category for transmission grid station works—likely Category A (General Civil/Electrical) or specialized Transmission category. NTN and SECP registration typically required. NGC may impose additional financial/operational criteria (prior experience on transmission projects, technical certifications). Restrictions not explicitly stated; review bid data sheet for debarment or NGC-specific conditions.
